Born into a property industry family, educated to post-graduate level and experienced in development, acquisition and consulting, Byron Kerr brings unique expertise to the world of residential real estate. With a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Marketing and E-Commerce), a Graduate Diploma in Property Valuation and a Master of Business (Property), Byron's qualifications cover many business disciplines and almost every sector of the property industry.

But it's his past experience with some of the industry's biggest names that really sets him apart - from advising the Valuer General's office, to overseeing $1.5b of property acquisition and development for Sydney based Walker Corporation, to a role as Development Manager with the Grollo Group of companies.

It's no surprise then, that when Byron followed his passion into residential real estate that he chose to join the Buxton Group. Looking to develop on the relationship-focused, person-to-person elements of his consulting career, Byron now brings his commitment to leadership and achievement to one of Melbourne's leading real estate groups.

Grounded in his studies in Marketing and Valuations, Byron brings a strategic focus to every aspect of every sale - from valuing and defining a property's place in the market, to developing a highly-targeted marketing plan to maximise sale price. Byron a local Bayside resident living in Parkdale close to the Sandbelt Golf Courses he loves and the beaches he enjoys. The recent purchase of his home has allowed Byron to discover hidden talents. Until now, academic pursuits and career commitments have kept Byron busy, but the purchase of his bayside home has unleashed his creative side... and shown him the pleasure of getting truly "hands on" with real estate!
